Rikuo Nura appears to be an average middle school students.
but no one knows he stays to a house full of youkai,
nor he will transform into all-powerful leader of Hyakki Yakō at night.

CHARACTERS OF NURARIHYON NO MAGO

✼ Rikuo Nura ⋆ 奴良 リクオ ✼

Nura is 3/4 human and 1/4 youkai.

He is grandson of Nurarihyon and Youhime, 

the son of Wakana Nura and Rihan Nura. 

Due to having youkai blood in his lineage, Rikuo has two form : 

one in which he takes in human form,

and another one where his youkai blood takes over him and becomes a full youkai.
and ordinary he was only able to maintain youkai form during darkness.

Rikuo was originally reluctant to accept his youkai blood and
his role as a successor of Nura Clan.
Because he was teased at school of talking about youkai.

As he ages, he realize he has ability to protect both human and youkai,
because of his heritage, and acknowledge himself as third successor of Nura Clan.

✾ Yura Keikain ⋆ 花開院 ゆら ✾

Yura is an onmyougi [exorcist] of the Keikain house,
she is able to maintain four at once,
impressing both Nurarihyon and fellow onmyougi.
She seeks to complete her training by defeating Nurarihyon
and then inheriting leadership of the Keikain household.

After spending time Rikuo and being exposed to his youkai form,
she begins to see how youkai are similar to human,
there are not all good and evil.

❅ Tsurara Oikawa/Yuki Onna ⋆ 雪女/及川 氷麗❅

Yuki Onna is Rikuo's trusted attendants.
She follows him to school under human guise known as Tsurara Oikawa.
As her name indicates, she is yuki onna youkai.

She is fiercely loyal to Rikuo and will do anything for him.
She gets visibly jealous when Rikuo mentioned Kana and
love Kana deeply.

 ⌘ Kana Inenaga ⋆ 家長 カナ ⌘

Kana Ienaga is Rikuo's childhood friend and neighbor.
She is an easily frightened girl who doesn't like the idea of youkai. 
yet she ironically she often become embroiled in youkai-related incident. 


She is hinted have some affection for Rikuo, 
she become jealous when she sees him spending time with Tsurara, 
and undeniably falls for his "night" form after he rescues her.

✯ Kubinashi ⋆ 首無 ✯

a youkai of the Nura Clan whose head floats
 above his shoulders as he has no neck.

✯ Aotabu ⋆ 青田坊 ✯

the physically strongest youkai in Nura Clan.

✯ Kurotabou ⋆ 黒田坊 ✯


Kurotabou is called "the assassin and destruction monk"
and is often seen with Aotabou,
 as the two are known as the assault officers of the Nura House.

✯ Nurarihyon ⋆ ぬらりひょん ✯

he is the grandfather of Nura Rikuo,
and the supreme commander of Nura Clan.

✯ Kejourou ⋆ 毛倡妓 ✯

Kejourou is a youkai who uses her hair to fight.

✯ Kappa ⋆ 河童 ✯

Kappa is a youkai of the Nura Clan whose domain is the fear of water.

✯ Zen ⋆ 鴆  ✯

Zen is the poisonous bird youkai specializes in making medicine.

✯ Karasu Tengu ⋆ カラス天狗 ✯

A youkai who is Nurarihyon's adviser and messenger.

i prefer manga more than anime, 
how about you ? :) 
well i hope season three will release soon. 
most of the people like Nura Rikuo. 
but i like his grandfather, 
Nurarihyon when he was young. :3 

yeah, that's him ! 
he is amazing,
well i think the coolest part of him was his hair ! xD
he use to appeared in Nurarihyon No Mago: Sennen Makyou,
and only show up a while.
I do like the love story between both Nurarihyon and Youhime,
that's too sweet ! @.@
